Inclusivity Program
High school years will be highlighted and enhanced by participation in the school's interscholastic athletic program. These will be some of the most enjoyable years of life. During this time, the OSAA and OHSWP have standards that must be met in order to be eligible to compete. In addition, there may be local school and league standards that apply.
The eligibility standards of the OHSWP have been adopted by the member schools and were accepted by each school when it became a member of OHSWP.
Residential Eligibility
A student must reside within the current school attendance boundary area of the school by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) with whom the student is living with. Exceptions: authorized “open district transfers” which are approved by the Athletic Directors and administrators of the schools involved – “hardship transfers” also need to be approved by district administrators & AD’s. The student/parent/head coach must ensure that all transfers of any type, be documented and approved by school district/school administration/AD. Please contact your school Athletic Director for further clarification.
